Dr. Sanu Sudhakar
MBBS, MD, FRANZCP

Dr. Sanu Sudhakar is a psychiatrist with broad experience across different mental health settings in New South Wales, including rehabilitation, adult acute community care, early psychosis, and early intervention programs. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) and an accredited supervisor for RANZCP trainees.


Dr. Sudhakar has a particular interest in trauma-related and neurodevelopmental conditions, especially how early-life experiences and psychological stress can shape emotional regulation, focus, and daily functioning over time. He takes a compassionate and thoughtful approach, helping individuals navigate these challenges in a way that feels practical and supportive.


He also has significant experience in occupational psychiatry and is an accredited Permanent Impairment Assessor with the State Insurance Regulatory Agency (SIRA). Additionally, he has a strong interest in research and publications, particularly in geriatric and rehabilitation psychiatry.

A Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP), Dr. Chidurala has dedicated their career to supporting adults aged 18–65 on their journey toward mental well-being.


Dr. Chidurala’s clinical interests encompass a wide range of psychiatric conditions, with a particular focus on:

• Adult ADHD.
• Mood disorders, including bipolar disorder and major depressive disorder.
